We loved the Nespresso machine in our room, and the goody bag for our dog was a delightful touch!

dog-friendly policy, quirky room decorations, charming sweet treats
a bit too decorated for my taste!!! The unique touches felt overwhelming at times, making it a tad claustrophobic!!! Perhaps a simpler aesthetic could create a more relaxing vibe!!!

Absolutely loved my stay at The Oriental! The room was spacious and bright, featuring a cozy sitting area and a luxurious bathroom with a powerful walk-in shower. The complimentary drinks and the retro snack basket were such delightful touches. Breakfast each morning blew me away. the variety was impressive, and everything looked beautiful. The personal service from Lola and her team made me feel like I was at home, with everyone being incredibly friendly. I appreciated the dog-friendly goody bag for my pup, showing how thoughtful the hotel is. One downside was the lack of on-site parking, but the recommended nearby parking was secure and reasonably priced. a wonderful experience that I wouldn't hesitate to repeat!

Excellent proximity to the beach and city center. The well-stocked room included high-quality Nespresso capsules and free non-alcoholic beverages, which made for a cozy experience.
The stairs might pose an issue for those carrying heavy luggage or with mobility concerns. Some furnishings could use a touch of modernization, like the lack of a bathtub, which might be missed after a long day out.

had a great time at the oriental. the staff were super friendly n welcoming. We got a free drink when we checked in, which was cool. our room was cozy with some retro sweets, just nice little touches everywhere. the location is perfect, just a short walk to the sea front and the lanes. breakfast was real good, freshly made and yummy!
the parking situation was a bit tricky, and the stairs were kinda steep. also, could have used more towels.

Quirky and Cozy Seaside Retreat
I had a lovely one-night stay at this charming guest house with my partner. The decor was unique and added a cozy touch, making us feel right at home. We enjoyed an amazing vegetarian breakfast and friendly recommendations from the staff for local dining. I suggest ensuring all the little extras in the room are out of reach for little ones, as they aren't all 'toddler-proof. '

Charming but noisy place to stay
I stayed here for work and found it charming, but man, it was super noisy. I got woken up by a dog barking and the blind didn’t block out the morning sun well. Breakfast was awesome though, huge portions and plenty of coffee. Just wish the staff were more welcoming. Price seems high for the experience.

It was just a nice choice for a short-term stay in Brighton with real value for money. The homemade cake from the owner’s mum was delicious and welcoming. Definitely try the breakfast with fresh fruit selection.
